Hey everyone,
Melinda Doolittle is FINALLY coming out with her album, "Coming Back To You"!!! The OFFICIAL release date is February 3, 2009. Her first single off of it is called "It's Your Love," which, while not currently available on iTunes or anything like that yet, is has been made available to listen to on her myspace (soon to be converted into her official website by the end of the month!)

It's been far too long since we've heard from Ms. Doolittle, but better late than never!!
Meanwhile, USA Today's Ken Barnes got an advance copy of the CD and gave it a review.

AHHHH I FINALLY got the LiveJournal feature to work! I'm sure you guys have seen all of these, but I wanted to post them because Tina Fey is AMAZING!!! I've been a hardcore fan of SNL for quite a few years, and I always said that the show took a blow when Tina Fey left... and due to the recent spike in ratings thanks to the Tina Fey/Sarah Palin complex, I think I was right! :)

So I figured since I'm such a diehard Idol fan, I'd post performances of Idol alumni that I feel are worth watching, because there are some good ones out there!!
The first one I just found was when Carrie Underwood was at the Grand Ol' Opry, and she sang "I Know You Won't", which is a ballad. I remember seeing her in Providence last February and she just NAILED this song live which is unbelievable. There were videos of this song from concerts, but I figured this has much better audio and still is live. It's awesome!!!

Ya gotta love Tina Fey!!! This made me laugh a lot last night. It's Tina Fey as Sarah Palin & Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton on Saturday Night Live!

Well, in the spirit of the American Idol finale (GO DAVID COOK!), I've decided to write an entry dedicated to all of my previous favorite performances/most memorable performances of each season. I can't say, for example, that I was a huge fan of either Blake Lewis or Lakisha in Season 6, but they both definitely had 2 of the most memorable performances that year.
